After detailed deliberations on the current problems faced by Dalits & Minorities the following resolutions were adopted.
1. It was resolved that reservation in Private Sector as demanded earlier should be introduced. Necessary legislative measures should be initiated and a suitable bill for the purpose introduce in the next budget session of Parliament.
2. Considering extremely low representation of SC/ST/OBC and Minorities in Judiciary necessary steps should be taken under article 312 of Indian Constitution to set up an all Indian Judicial Service on the lines of IAS/IPS, etc.
3. It was resolved, that an appeal should be made to Govt. of India to initiate necessary steps for the implementation of the recommendations of Rangnath Mishra Commission for reservation in Govt. jobs and higher education for minorities on a time bound basis so as to improvement the socio – economic condition of minorities.
4. It was decided that the next conference of Dalit & Minorities International Forum should be held in Dubai this year at a suitable time in the month of September/ October. In this regard it was decided that the names of delegates from all over the world should be collected, and old list updated so as to timely inform the delegates accordingly.
