Against rising prices of food items, thousands of party workers of Lok Janshakti Party, in the leadership of Shri Vinod Nagar, Delhi State President, held a demonstration at Jantar Mantar. Shri Ram Vilas Paswan, National President, Lok Janshakti Party, addressing the large gathering of workers stated that Govts. Central/ State level should act with the determination to check the mal practice of hording and profiteering by unscrupulous traders and middle men to bring down the prices within to reach of the common men. Other leaders who address the gathering are S/Shri Abdul Khaliq, Secretary General, Gulab Singh Rathore, Councilor, Rakesh Choudhary National Secretary, Dilip Balmiki, National Secretary, Md. Sabir Khan, National Secretary, Amar Singh, R.S. Dubey, Anand Goel Bittoo, R.D. Alarmingly increasing prices of food items have placed the cheapest vegetables and food grains beyond the reach of the common man. The situation, of shortage of fruits and vegetables, because of poor rains, is being exploited by the middle men, traders and hoarders who are indulging in profiteering.
