The Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) asks the Bhartya Janata Party (BJP) to come clean on unearthing Indian black money stashed abroad in foreign banks. Exploding the myth of the BJP making black money a poll issue, the LJP cites the Tehelka audio-visual expose of a conversation between the then BJP President Bangaru Laxman and his PS with the Tehelka team, where they were seen accepting part bribe in cash for fixing a defence deal and asking the remaining amount to be paid in foreign accounts, during the NDA Government’s hey days, as a clear proof of the fact that the BJP was maintaining foreign bank accounts to channel its ill-gotten money called pay-offs or bribes. This expose is already in public domain.

The LJP urges the Union Ministries of Home Affairs and Finance to make public the foreign donations received by the BJP and VHP, the foreign bank accounts maintained by them and take appropriate action to bring back safely the money to the country.
