National Executive of Lok Janshakti Party met on 14th June 2009 in New Delhi to take stock of the performance of LJP in recently held Parliamentary Elections and to deliberate upon prevailing political, social and economic situation in the country. The meeting was chaired by Shri Ram Vilas Paswan, National President of Lok Janshakti Party. The Office Bearers of various state units, State Presidents of LJP and Dalit Sena and invitees from all over the country participated in the National Executive.
The meeting expressed satisfaction on the defeat of NDA and re-election of UPA in Lok Sabha polls. The meeting also passed resolutions on the following issues:-

Continue work for empowerment of Dalits, Adivasis, Minorities and Backward classes. |
| 2. |
Reservation for SC/STs in private sector. |
| 3. |
Expansion of employment guarantee to full year and to urban areas. As well as inclusion of right to work in the Constitution. |
| 4. |
Support for reservation for women with sub quota for SC/ST/OBCs and Minorities. |
| 5. |
Creation of all India Judicial Service. |
| 6. |
Tabling of Rangnath Mishra Commission Report. |

National Executive has criticized the performance of Nitish Kumar Government for its failure to prevent violence and killings. The party has demanded that the State Government should immediately make public and implement recommendations of the following commissions:

Bandopadhyay Commission and land reforms legislation |
| b. |
Vishwamohan Commission on Mahadalits. |
| c. |
Expansion of employment guarantee to full year and to urban areas. As well as inclusion of right to work in the Constitution. |

The party has decided to continue its alliance with RJD in future also.
The National Executive also condemned the murder of Sant Ramanand in Vienna and racial attacks on Indians in Australia.
The party will hold training camps for its cadres at Bodh Gaya on 12, 13 and 14 August 2009 and hold a joint rally with RJD on 19th July, 2009 at Patna. |
