Thousands of party workers thronged the party office today to give a rousing welcome to Shri Ram Vilas Paswan, Party President and Former Union Minister, on the occasion of his election to Rajya Sabha.
Shri Paswan, was greeted by a large numbers of party workers and supporters, from Delhi, Haryanan, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh, who turned out at airport and at his residence, 12 Janpath, to congratulate him for his victory in the recently concluded Rajya Sabha election.
The party office and his residence, was decked with party flags, banters, colours and posters, all welcoming him to Delhi, after the victory. Addressing the party workers and media, Shri Paswan, said that he would vigorously take up the cause of dalits, minorities, Kissan and workers, and other weaker section of the society in Rajya Sabha.
Shri Paswan stated that his victory in the Rajya Sabha election in Bihar has tremendously boosted morale of the party workers and he was confident that LJP and RJD coalition will sweep the forthcoming assembly election in Bihar.
LJP-RJD coalition will form the next government in Bihar, he underline and thanked the party workers for the support to the party and MLAs of LJP, RJD, CPI and Independents, who supported and ensured the victory of both the candidates of the LJP - RJD coalition.
