Today thousands of Party worker of Lok Janshakti Party staged a demonstration against the NHRC report, at Jantar Mantar, New Delhi and demanded a Judicial enquiry into Police encounter at Batla House, last year.

The agitators later on were arrested by the police and released later on.  Those who were arrested are S/ Shri Abdul Khaliq, Secretary General, Sabir Ali, MP, Shoiab Iqbal, MLA, Shamele Navi, National General Secretary, Afzal Abbas, National President (Minority Cell), Mohd. Sabir Khan, National Secretary, Dalip Balmiki, National Secretary and Amanutullah Khan.

A memorandum was given to the Prime Minister demanding a judicial enquiry in to the matter
